IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineer

About the role

AgileEngine is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and support corporate networks, servers and storage across on-premise and cloud environments. The role also covers telephony and systems, and serves as an internal escalation point for day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and support corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems, implementing observable, secure and fault-tolerant solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, support and direction across multiple teams and domains.
• Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape and lead infrastructure, systems and application projects.
• Handle device lifecycle support: vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades, decommissioning and documentation.
• Mentor less senior staff and manage vendors and managed service providers.
• Help define and execute the enterprise infrastructure strategy and support global operations for remote, manufacturing and office workforces.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise LAN/WAN, servers and storage.
• Experience in a SOX-regulated company is mandatory.
• Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Self-sufficient, able to work independently in a fast-growth environment, with discipline to document work and a project-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to complete some work after business hours and to interface with vendors and MSPs.
• Upper-intermediate English; AA degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper equipment and software; firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (physical and virtual).
• Microsoft Server OS and Active Directory; Office 365 (Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• AWS and Azure with a cloud-first approach; patch deployment.
• Nice to have: Cisco, AWS/Azure and networking certifications; ITIL; Linux; network and systems monitoring.
