Junior Data Engineer

About the role

SoftwareOne is hiring a Junior Data Engineer to join its data solutions team. The role suits someone who wants to start or strengthen their career in data, learning from experienced colleagues and gradually taking on more responsibility. You will work with Power BI and other data technologies on real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in developing data solutions with the team's support and guidance.
• Create and support data visualisation and analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services, Databricks or AWS Data Services, depending on each project's needs.
• Maintain and improve data solutions, applying the team's best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with technical professionals and clients, growing autonomy in assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Power BI and motivation to keep developing your skills with it.
• Interest in a career in data engineering and continuous learning of new data technologies.
• Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach to understanding requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, openness to feedback and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of at least one of: Microsoft Fabric + Azure Data Services, Databricks or AWS Data Services.
