Junior Finance Manager – Financial Engineer for Lifestyle Brand

About the role

We are looking for a high‑energy Junior Finance Manager to act as the financial engineer for a fast‑growing lifestyle brand. You will design and own the company’s financial record architecture, driving operational efficiency and strict cost control while leveraging modern FinTech and AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise the finance department, including accounting processes, internal controls and reporting workflows.
• Conduct financial analysis and benchmark against hospitality and lifestyle industry standards to uncover cost‑saving and revenue‑generating opportunities.
• Develop and execute cash‑flow forecasts, annual budgets and comprehensive financial strategies aligned with expansion goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll and general‑ledger maintenance.
• Drive automation using existing financial software and propose new tools when needed.
• Collaborate with operations to improve inventory management, labour cost controls and overall profitability.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Monitor weekly and monthly performance, delivering variance analysis to executive leadership.
• Analyse club‑specific metrics (member acquisition cost, lifetime value, retention, utilisation) to assess business health.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management or controllership, preferably in hospitality, private clubs, luxury retail or lifestyle sectors.
• Strong analytical judgment and ability to work independently under tight closing deadlines.
• Motivated to scale the finance function and protect the bottom line as the brand grows.
• Results‑driven mindset focused on KPI‑based performance.
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable presenting analytical insights to senior leadership.
