About the role
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support manufacturing quality control. The role involves ensuring that production processes and finished goods meet internal and regulatory standards, contributing to the reliability of our power grid technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Audit manufacturing processes and outputs against defined quality standards.
- Monitor production lines and perform statistical sampling of finished goods.
- Test random samples to verify compliance with specifications.
- Report process deviations and product defects to Quality Assurance.
- Collaborate with QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of laboratory and quality control procedures, acquired through work experience or vocational/technical education.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision and interpret standard procedures when needed.
- Effective communication of technical information that may require explanation.
