Lead Financial Analyst

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join the TCO Agent Platform team. You will act as the bridge between cloud finance functions, accounting practices, and AI‑driven cost oversight, ensuring accurate financial treatment and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and authorize batches of automated draft journal entries, resolve anomalies, and ensure alignment with the accounting platform.
• Match raw cloud billing figures to vendor invoices, apply credit amortization schedules, and verify credit allocations.
• Administer allocation methodologies across 40+ cost centers and implement re‑classification directives.
• Collaborate with Finance to conduct quarterly re‑forecasting at the org‑space tier.
• Compare actual cloud usage costs to committed revenue, verify SKU pricing, and submit dispute tickets when needed.
• Cross‑check journal entry results and cost center sums between legacy and new reporting systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• At least five years of hands‑on experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Accounting, FinOps or Technology Business Management, with multi‑cloud exposure.
• Minimum one year of leadership experience managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, cost allocation, month‑end closing, credit amortization and SOX‑related controls.
• Excellent communication skills and functional English at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Java or Python (for understanding automated system logic).
• SQL (BigQuery preferred) and advanced Excel.
• BI tools such as Looker Core Studio.
• Familiarity with Jira, Slack or Teams for workflow coordination.
• Understanding of public cloud billing (AWS CUR, GCP Cloud Billing) and commitment‑based purchasing options.
