About the role
Join ScotiaGBS in Bogota as an IB Accounting Senior Analyst, contributing to the Finance Service Unit’s accounting area. You will support business strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, and help deliver accurate financial information.
Key responsibilities
- Process journal entries, reconciliations and perform variance analysis.
- Generate financial reports and statements, analyze discrepancies and recommend resolutions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date Desktop Training Procedures documents.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in finance‑related projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Advanced English proficiency and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with computerized ledger systems.
- Understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
