About the role

Toptal is a global network of top talent in business, design and technology that helps companies scale their teams on demand. As a Management Consulting Matcher, you will work directly with Toptal's clients to understand their needs, match them with Management Consultants from the talent network, and support them through the matching process, the engagement and beyond. This is a remote position; no visa sponsorship is offered and resumes and communication must be in English.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements and consult with clients so their needs are understood.
• Define job descriptions, talent responsibilities and requirements.
• Search talent profiles, shortlist candidates and send availability requests.
• Confirm talent availability, screen applications and select candidates.
• Introduce candidates to clients, explaining technical and cultural fit.
• Customize talent rates, adjust commitment types and schedule engagement dates.
• Collect feedback on talent and keep detailed platform documentation.
• Advise and guide Management Consultants in the network.
• Investigate disputes and work cross-functionally to resolve them.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Full-time availability during EST or PST working hours.
• 5+ years in Management Consulting (top-tier or reputable boutique firm) or equivalent strategic advisory experience.
• Hands-on experience across several consulting practices such as strategy, finance, operations, marketing, people/HR and technology, or a strong generalist track record.
• Strong adaptability to learn and execute in new areas such as Product Management, Project Management, Design and Digital Marketing.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into consultant responsibilities and skills.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and emotional intelligence skills.
• Understanding of business strategy and consulting concepts and frameworks (MBA is an advantage but not required).
• Quick adoption of new processes and technologies, ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure.
• Strategic thinking and self-starting ability with limited guidance.
