Manager, Process Excellence

About the role

DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson's Orthopedics business, is recruiting a Manager, Process Excellence in Bogotá, Colombia. The role leads the design, standardization and continuous improvement of commercial and service-delivery processes across Global Business Services, turning business priorities into process standards and measurable improvement plans. It also identifies automation opportunities and strengthens operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and continuous improvement of end-to-end commercial and service-delivery processes across GBS functions such as GBS Finance, GBS HR, GBS Procurement, GBS Commercial, EAO and Master Data Management, and Operational Oversight.
• Develop and maintain process architecture, process maps, standard workflows, business requirements, controls, decision points and ownership models.
• Identify variation, duplication, bottlenecks, rework, handoff issues, quality risks and simplification opportunities.
• Prioritize improvement opportunities using process insights, operational data, customer feedback and stakeholder input.
• Lead cross-functional process reviews and design workshops, and set process governance, standards, documentation expectations, performance measures and review cadences.
• Build and manage a portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with digital and automation teams on system enhancements and workflow automation.
• Define measures of process health, service quality, customer effort, efficiency and control performance, and support change adoption through stakeholder engagement, communications, training and documentation.
• Develop team capability in process design, Lean problem solving and data-driven continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, Information Systems or a related field; a Master's degree preferred.
• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in process design, continuous improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, service operations, supply chain, commercial operations or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end process design or improvement initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional language proficiency may be preferred depending on the markets supported.

Required skills

• Process mapping, root-cause analysis, problem solving, process-performance measurement and continuous-improvement methods.
• Translating business needs into process requirements, operating procedures, controls and implementation plans.
• Workshop facilitation, stakeholder alignment and influencing decisions without formal authority.
• Analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication, and presentation of complex process topics to operational and senior stakeholders.
• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Kaizen, BPM, service design, process governance dashboards, Scrum or Agile, and experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, manufacturing or regulated industries.
