Marketing Assistant – Consumer Insights

About the role

Manukora, a global wellness brand behind the US Mānuka honey category, is looking for a Marketing Assistant to run its consumer and product research. The role covers in-home usage tests, surveys, quantitative and qualitative studies, and research into new categories and competitors, working closely with the marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Run the logistics of research: build product research kits, coordinate samples and shipping with operations, send participant incentives and check details before anything leaves
• Design studies and write surveys
• Pull together survey results, customer reviews, Amazon data and retail data, and build dashboards
• Manage the research inbox and other consumer-facing platforms
• Research new categories, from competitor packaging to how consumers think and behave, and turn findings into clear recommendations
• Share reports with the wider team and help improve research systems and playbooks
• Help with a variety of marketing tasks across the marketing team

Required profile

• Around 1-3 years into your career, already working in a professional environment
• Want to build a career in marketing or consumer and product research; no marketing background needed
• Analytical, proactive, creative and detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-moving team
• Fluent in written and spoken English, able to present findings to the team

Required skills

• Comfortable with data tools; at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Looker or similar, or strong Excel/Sheets including pivot tables
• Uses AI in day-to-day work beyond writing, for example to analyze reviews or organize data
• Nice to have: exposure to surveys, market research, e-commerce or CPG; experience with Notion, Figma, Claude or Typeform
