Mid Fullstack Developer

About the role

Global Technology Services, a software development and IT services organization based in Medellín, Colombia, is looking for a Mid Fullstack Developer working in a hybrid setting. The role suits someone with 3+ years of experience who can move between front-end and back-end development, working with multinational teams across Latin America, the Philippines and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain fullstack solutions mainly with Node.js, React.js and TypeScript
• Build and maintain scalable backend APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Develop front-end components using MUI (Material UI) in React
• Work with product, operations and QA teams on the full product lifecycle, including backend services, APIs and front-end features
• Take part in code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting
• Support CI/CD pipelines and follow software development best practices

Required profile

• 3-5 years of fullstack experience or equivalent front-end/back-end roles
• Strong problem-solving, debugging and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent English for international teams
• Nice to have: occasional Java and PHP work, pure-code projects, startup background

Required skills

• Node.js, React.js and TypeScript
• SQL (Microsoft SQL a plus) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• AWS services: SQS, EC2, Fargate, Lambda, RDS
• Git and GitHub Actions
