Mid Software Engineer – Support L3

About the role

We are looking for a Mid Software Engineer – Support L3 to join our IT team in Bogotá. The role combines application support, incident management, and ongoing development of both legacy VB6 and modern .NET Core solutions. You will work closely with business users and global stakeholders to ensure stable, high‑quality software services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Level 3 escalation point for complex production issues, performing root‑cause analysis and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Maintain and enhance legacy VB6 applications and support development of .NET Core/C# applications, including bug fixes and minor feature additions.
• Develop, optimise, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and views on MS SQL Server, and support reporting solutions using Crystal Reports and SSRS.
• Collaborate with business users, development teams and global stakeholders, providing technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 support engineers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience developing, maintaining and supporting software solutions with VB6 and .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, attention to detail and good English communication skills.
