Mobile Engineer (Android) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is hiring a Mobile Engineer (Android). You will create polished, native mobile experiences and contribute to the mobile product lifecycle, making sure applications are performant, stable and built according to modern Android architectural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement scalable, maintainable solutions with modern architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVI.
• Integrate apps with backend services via RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows.
• Ensure performance, responsiveness and stability across a wide range of devices and OS versions.
• Write clean, testable code and implement unit and UI tests.
• Manage the application lifecycle from development through to the Play Store release.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in native Android development.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and modern UI development with Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVI and reactive programming with Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger and with Play Store releases.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
