Network Manager – Cloud and Data Center Connectivity

About the role

Amadeus is looking for a Network Manager to lead its Cloud Foundation Solutions team in Bogotá. You will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable and scalable networking services across cloud, data‑center and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Network Engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Own the reliability, performance and security of production and non‑production network services.
• Drive modernization through software‑defined networking, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, self‑service portals and automation.
• Collaborate with architecture, CISO, cloud, SRE, platform and product stakeholders to design resilient networking solutions.
• Manage incident, problem, change, capacity, lifecycle, compliance and vendor activities for critical network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise/network/cloud networking experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams in a global or matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, WAN/LAN, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, DNS, load balancing and network security.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision‑making skills in English.

Required skills

• Routing and switching protocols, WAN/LAN design, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, traffic management.
• IT service management practices (incident, problem, change, capacity, lifecycle).
• Cloud networking concepts and services on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Automation and IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible/AWX, Git‑based workflows.
