Partner Field Marketing Intern

About the role

IBM’s Marketing, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility team is looking for a proactive Partner Field Marketing Intern to support co‑marketing activities across Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela and the Latin Caribbean region. You will work closely with the North SSA Partner Field Marketer, helping partners plan, execute, and document joint marketing campaigns that align with regional priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners in planning and submitting co‑marketing activities that match regional focus products and strategic goals.
• Review partner proposals for eligibility, compliance with brand and program guidelines, and track execution timelines.
• Conduct initial reviews of campaign assets, vendor quotes, and final materials, identifying compliance gaps and guiding corrective actions.
• Support partners throughout the claim submission process, validating documentation such as proof of execution, invoices, and deliverables.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Educate partners on co‑marketing guidelines, share templates and checklists, and help them use IBM’s co‑marketing tools and platforms.

Required profile

• Current university student enrolled in a bachelor’s program; the internship must be a required part of the academic curriculum or officially authorized by the university.
• Provide an official university endorsement letter for enrollment/onboarding.
• Maintain active student status throughout the internship period (graduation before completion is not allowed).
• Full‑time availability for the duration of the internship (approximately six months).
