Part‑time Remote Veterinarian (Telemedicine)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time remote Veterinarian to provide professional veterinary consultations via telemedicine. The role involves reviewing patient histories, delivering diagnostic insights, and guiding owners on treatment and follow‑up care.

Key responsibilities

• Review electronic medical records and patient histories to assess health concerns.
• Provide diagnostic recommendations and develop treatment plans remotely.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners, answering questions about preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate with on‑site veterinary teams or local clinics when in‑person care is required.
• Document consultations and update electronic medical records accurately.
• Contribute to clinical protocols and participate in virtual team meetings.

Required profile

• Active DVM degree and current veterinary license in at least one U.S. state, eligible for telemedicine practice.
• Proficiency in small‑animal medicine, including preventive care, common illnesses, and chronic disease management.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain medical information in accessible language.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting and managing time effectively.
• Commitment to compassionate, non‑judgmental client interactions and ethical practice.
• Willingness to stay current with veterinary guidelines and continuing education.
