Payment Partnerships Manager – BDM

About the role

We are seeking a Payment Partnerships Manager to own and scale our Colombian payment and partnership strategy. This high‑impact, leadership role sits at the core of our international expansion and offers direct exposure to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Map the Colombian market ecosystem, negotiate commercial terms, buy rates and service level agreements to maximise profitability and regional expansion.
• Conduct market research on regulation, competition, risks and opportunities and present insights to the CEO.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with banks, PSPs, wallets, card schemes and processors.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding of new suppliers and drive integration with internal stakeholders.
• Serve as a partner in PM‑controlling liaison across multi‑year digital transformation milestones, aligning with compliance, finance, product, legal, operations and sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience in payment partnerships, B2B technology sales or digital transformation consulting within FinTech, SaaS or payment processing.
• Native Spanish and fluent/advanced English.
• High level of autonomy, strong commercial hunger and exceptional client‑facing presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proven track record managing payment projects, digital wallet or processor integrations.
• Project management and cross‑functional initiative leadership.
• Experience with modern pipeline and development tracking tools such as Jira and Pipedrive.
