Product Owner

About the role

Amadeus is hiring a Product Owner in Bogota. The role works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager, turns the Product Manager's high-level vision into detailed requirements, and leads the definition and prioritization of user stories with the Agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Understand, identify and define customer needs.
• Translate the Product Manager's vision into detailed requirements, working with stakeholders such as finance, security, operations, support and audit.
• Interact with Product Managers to write user stories for the team backlog.
• Lead the definition and prioritization of user stories based on customer needs and value, and sequence the architectural runway with the development team.
• Manage, prioritize and communicate the flow of work, and reprioritize backlogs before each release and sprint.
• Analyze requirements so they are ready to be worked on, and work closely with delivery teams to ensure the right functionality is built on time.
• Take part in ongoing testing, sprint reviews, team coordination meetings, system demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops (if in SAFe).
• Attend Product Owner community events and organize demos.

Required profile

• Technical and functional knowledge and experience in your own discipline.
• Knowledge of the Amadeus business and its relation to your area.
• Ability to work with moderate guidance from a manager.
