Project Manager (Hybrid) - Oil & Gas IT Solutions

About the role

Quorum Software, a provider of digital technology for business workflows in the oil and gas sector, is hiring a Project Manager in Bogota, Colombia, on a hybrid schedule. Reporting to the Services Manager for Latin America, the role sits in the Americas Professional Services organization and involves both hands-on project management and high-level program strategy. The position suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced, international environment and has a proven history of delivering business-oriented IT/software solutions in the oil and gas industry, preferably with experience in upstream planning and/or economics.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and motivate project teams in the Americas region, covering North America and Latin America, and drive performance, quality and delivery.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, scoping, cost estimation, scheduling, resourcing, technical design, monitoring, quality control, end-user training and closure.
• Run project status and working meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Manage risks and issues, correct plan deviations and integrate multiple agile teams with other departments.
• Apply agile methods in a fast-paced environment, blending traditional project management with an agile approach.
• Coach the team, remove roadblocks, support team development and manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
• Champion process improvement and best practices for Agile project management.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably a B.S. in engineering or a business degree.
• Proven track record of project execution in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience implementing business-oriented IT/software solutions, preferably in upstream planning and/or economics.
