About the role
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a RAN Engineer to develop and apply engineering practices across wireless, satellite, fixed and enterprise networks, as well as IoT and edge computing solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and apply standards, protocols, application and embedded software for wireless and satellite networks.
- Integrate network systems and oversee their operations for connectivity and network engineering projects.
- Support development of connected devices (IoT), 5G/edge applications, B2X apps, and Telco Cloud platforms.
Required profile
- Fully competent in connectivity and network engineering, able to act as a key contributor in complex environments.
- Proactively anticipates client needs, manages costs and profitability, and develops project plans.
- Facilitates, coaches, and moves teams forward while considering broader implications.
Required skills
- Standards and protocols for wireless, satellite, fixed and enterprise networks.
- Application and embedded software development for network technologies.
- IoT device engineering and 5G/edge computing.
- Telco Cloud, automation and edge compute platforms.
