Remote DevOps Engineer (AWS)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring a DevOps Engineer specializing in AWS. You will design and maintain the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power software delivery, acting as a bridge between development and operations so that systems are scalable, secure and highly available.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud environments using AWS core services to ensure high availability.
• Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration and deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to automate environment provisioning and keep configurations consistent.
• Optimize containerized workloads and orchestration strategies to improve resource use and performance.
• Work with engineering teams to improve monitoring, logging and incident response.
• Protect cloud resources through IAM management and infrastructure hardening.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in managing and automating AWS core services such as EC2, EKS and RDS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline or GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
