Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology company with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote developers, is hiring a Ruby on Rails Senior Developer. The role is fully remote, with flexible hours and a focus on solving complex technical problems across web applications, mobile devices and the mobile ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern web applications for mobile and desktop devices, with attention to responsive design and different screen sizes.
• Carry out all phases of the systems engineering process.
• Plan, process and perform all work independently, without supervision, while keeping the product consistent.
• Document code throughout development and provide technical documentation for design, implementation and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of front-end development with strong JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 skills.
• Experience building web applications with ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay or similar.
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone and Marionette.
• Advanced English level.
