Salesforce Administrator
8am · Remote - COLOMBIA
Job description
About the role
8am is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to own the configuration, design and functionality of the Salesforce platform used daily by Sales, Marketing and Customer Operations. The role is remote and based in Colombia, and the administrator acts as a key voice in shaping the systems strategy as the company grows.
Key responsibilities
- Own day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and customization of the Salesforce instance and its integrations.
- Partner with stakeholders end to end: uncover the real problem, turn requirements into technical designs, balance priorities and drive launches.
- Serve as subject matter expert in business process design, identifying gaps and redesigning processes so Salesforce supports them.
- Design, build and maintain a scalable, governed org architecture, including data model, page layouts, validation rules and automation.
- Build with Flow and declarative tools first, and partner with developers or contribute to Apex and Lightning Web Components when code is needed.
- Manage profiles, roles, permission sets and sharing settings to uphold security standards.
- Provide user support, monitor data quality and system health, and run a disciplined change management process with QA, UAT and production testing.
- Explore AI capabilities in Salesforce and beyond, and keep documentation and training current.
Required profile
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator; Administrator certification preferred (Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder a plus).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping and root-cause diagnosis.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve workflows and decision-making.
Required skills
- Strong command of Flow and declarative tools, with a track record of scalable automation.
- Working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Solid grasp of the Salesforce data and security models.
- API-based integrations, including configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting connections to other systems.
What we offer
- Full compliance with Colombian social security (health, pension and risk coverage).
- Paid sick leave covered from day one, with EPS support after the second day.
- Up to 15 paid days off per year.
- Maternity and paternity leave in line with Colombian law.
- Paid time off for official Colombian public holidays.
- Staff referral bonus.
