Scrum Master - Travel Intelligence

About the role

Amadeus Travel Intelligence (ATI) is looking for a Scrum Master to join its Technology team. You will be a key member of the Travel Intelligence R&D delivery team, working closely with stakeholders to accelerate value delivery at Agile team level by promoting Lean-Agile values and principles. The role acts as guardian of Scrum, Kanban and SAFe train artifacts, facilitating ceremonies, escalating impediments and helping manage risks.

Key responsibilities

• Coach the team in Agile practices: ceremonies, estimation, artifacts, value demonstration, continuous improvement and built-in quality
• Implement Scrum and Kanban best practices at team level and coach stakeholders on an Agile mindset
• Facilitate team and train events (sprint planning, review, retrospective, daily standup, PI planning, system demo, ART sync)
• Manage and optimize the flow of value, track user story execution and communicate key metrics
• Support backlog filling with Product Management and Product Owners, and manage risk and dependencies
• Run quarterly Agile Team Maturity Assessments, define improvement actions and track them
• Join Scrum Master Communities of Practice such as Quality and DevOps

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a SaaS model
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
• Desirable: technical background as developer, QA engineer, data analyst or business analyst
• Desirable: experience in Data Teams and technical knowledge of analytics and reporting solutions

Required skills

• Agile or Scrum software development methodologies; SAFe is a plus
• Strong business understanding and excellent written and verbal communication
