Senior Accountant GBS FSSC

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support the Global Business Services (GBS) finance function, handling end‑to‑end record‑to‑report processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting for SGS subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Revenue download, reconciliation, and allocation of customer payments, including COD accounts.
• Maintain and clear open sales invoices, credit notes, and unapplied payments.
• Execute Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes, prepare journal entries, and manage periodic GL closings.
• Produce and distribute standard reports for GL, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and intercompany transactions.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
• Identify process improvements and actively participate in GBS projects.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a Shared Services Center or accounting firm.
• Experience working with local clients and suppliers.
• English at B2 conversational level.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite or similar ERP systems.
