Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations for US‑based businesses. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, month‑end close, financial reporting and mentoring a team of accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end accounting for one or multiple US entities, overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, accounts payable/receivable and cash management.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, KPIs, budgets and forecasts while ensuring strong internal controls and US GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors, support process improvements, ERP implementations and automation initiatives.
• Mentor and review work of accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 6–8+ years of accounting/finance experience and significant US exposure.
• Proven experience managing complete month‑end and year‑end close processes, team leadership and strong communication with senior stakeholders.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA is preferred.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online/Desktop, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics or Xero.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; Power BI or similar reporting tools.
