About the role
Kennedys is seeking a Senior Associate for its growing Corporate and Commercial team in its Bogota office. The team advises on a wide range of commercial services, including corporate, property, construction, insolvency and regulatory matters, and supports clients with commercial contracts and regulatory processes. It serves insurers, financial institutions, shareholders and private equity firms.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in commercial or corporate law
- Experience in legal teams in the insurance industry
- Experience supporting junior team members
- Experience in M&A transactions and other commercial agreements
- Experience assisting on large cases in a team environment
- Experience of arbitration and negotiation
- Demonstrable research, writing and communication skills
- Excellent academic record
- Previous client contact experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
