Senior Compensation Operations Analyst

About the role

Medtronic is looking for a Senior Compensation Operations Analyst in Bogota to transform Global Compensation Operations from a manual, audit-driven model into a scalable, automated and insight-focused function. The role evaluates existing audit processes, identifies optimization opportunities and designs automated controls and monitoring solutions that improve efficiency, quality, compliance and customer experience. It works across Compensation, HR Operations, Payroll, HRIS and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and automate compensation audits, controls and validation processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process optimization.
• Build dashboards, reports and metrics to monitor operational performance and compliance.
• Analyze trends, risks and audit findings to drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Compensation, HRIS, Payroll, IT and business teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual work and operational risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, Information Systems, Analytics or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in Compensation Operations, HR Operations, HRIS, auditing, analytics or process improvement.
• 4 years of experience creating dashboards, reports, automated workflows and controls.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle or SuccessFactors.
• Experience with automation and analytics tools (Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, Python, AI tools or similar).
• Understanding of audit, compliance, risk and governance principles.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
