Senior Consultant – Actuarial Implementation

About the role

As a Senior Consultant you will lead the technical execution of an implementation module or workstream for insurance clients, acting as the trusted reference point for both the client and the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Break down the implementation plan into actionable tasks for your module, report progress and risks.
• Serve as the technical liaison with the Product & Technology team, reporting issues and improvement opportunities.
• Design customized modules within Addactis solutions to meet client requirements.
• Resolve technical issues independently, escalating only when needed.
• Validate actuarial results and models before delivery to the client.
• Present progress and results to the client and handle complex technical queries.
• Guide and review the work of Consultants and Associate Consultants, providing day‑to‑day technical mentoring.
• Produce training materials and technical documentation for reuse.

Required profile

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
• 4‑6 years of experience in the insurance sector.
• Actuarial certification (e.g., SOA, IFoA, IAA) preferred but not required.
• Fluent professional English (written and spoken) at a technical level.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: R, Python or C++.
• Experience with actuarial software.
• Deep technical mastery of actuarial concepts (IFRS 17, Solvency II, life liability modeling, non‑life reserving and pricing).
