Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Endava is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead application lifecycle management, automate infrastructure, and enhance developer experience across multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for developers on infrastructure, deployment, and access issues, handling requests via Jira and Slack.
• Manage and scale AWS/GCP environments using Terraform and support multi‑cloud operations.
• Maintain and improve CLI tools, internal APIs, and developer experience (DevEx) components.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, applying GitOps patterns.
• Monitor system health, implement self‑healing triggers, and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Experiment with LLM‑based workflows to automate troubleshooting and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering.
• Developer‑first mindset with ability to translate ambiguous requirements into code.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Proficiency in Go or Python for building internal tools.

• Programming: Go (Golang) or Python, HTMX.
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Cloud: AWS, GCP.
• Observability & reliability tooling.

• Build systems: Bazel.
• Data Ops exposure: Snowflake, Databricks (bonus).
