Senior Media Buyer

About the role

The Zone Podcast is seeking a Senior Media Buyer to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of media campaigns that promote the studio’s podcast productions and client projects. This full‑time, on‑site position in Medellín will work closely with creative, production, and social teams to ensure media strategies align with brand messaging and launch goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage multi‑channel media plans, including digital (Meta, Google Ads, programmatic) and traditional outlets.
• Conduct audience research, allocate budgets, and negotiate with media platforms and vendors.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and produce regular performance reports.
• Adjust strategies based on KPI insights to maximise reach, engagement, and ROI.
• Contribute to long‑term media planning and identify new growth opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members on media‑buying best practices.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on media buying or performance‑marketing experience, preferably in content, entertainment or agency settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and external negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Medellín and manage multiple deadlines.
