Senior Paid Advertising Strategist - Ecommerce

About the role

Power Digital, an AI-native growth firm, is hiring a Senior Paid Advertising Strategist for ecommerce, working remotely. The role leads performance marketing strategy and execution across complex, high-value accounts, owning campaign planning, optimizations, reporting, QA and proactive client communication, while mentoring junior talent and using AI and the Nova ecosystem to improve workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Lead performance marketing strategy and execution for marquee accounts, ensuring delivery against client goals
• Conduct thorough QA to prevent errors that could hurt client revenue, and ensure accurate budget pacing and advise on budget changes
• Proactively recommend strategy across channels, surfacing opportunities and risks before client requests
• Analyze campaign data and client-specific sources of truth (including MMTs) to build actionable insights
• Maintain client testing roadmaps and project manage follow-up steps, keeping a steady cadence of experimentation
• Apply advanced knowledge of attribution, incrementality, contribution analysis, measurement frameworks, MMTs/LRAs and channel best practices
• Communicate consistently with clients and internal teams, escalate performance risks early, and act as a strategic leader in the department and account teams
• Complete new business appraisals as needed, coach junior talent and support team ceremonies
• Use AI and the Nova ecosystem tools to improve efficiency

Required profile

• 4-5 years of digital marketing experience, including 3+ years in an agency setting
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with at least two paid advertising channels
• Experience developing and optimizing campaigns: bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy, campaign strategy
• Strong written and verbal communication, client-facing presentation skills, and project management abilities

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of at least two channels such as Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat or others
• Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office and Google Analytics
• Expert knowledge of funnel marketing and paid media's place in the funnel
