Senior QA Engineer - Remote

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior QA Engineer (remote, Colombia) to plan, design and execute manual and automated testing for investor funding, payment processing, data flows and system integrations. The role covers API validation, data pipelines, performance testing and the use of AI-assisted testing tools, and works within Agile/Scrum teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute manual and automated testing for funding, payments, data flows and integrations
• Build and maintain automated test suites with Python (pytest, Robot Framework) and Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Validate REST APIs, file-based integrations and data pipelines
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation and defect investigation
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Run performance and load tests, and test responsive web apps across browsers, devices and screen sizes
• Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, and develop AI-assisted testing solutions
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders through Agile ceremonies and report defects and quality metrics

Required profile

• 5+ years in QA, manual and automated testing
• 3+ years in Agile/Scrum teams
• Ability to work during US Eastern Time business hours
• Strong written and verbal communication

Required skills

• Python automation (pytest, Robot Framework) and Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Advanced SQL and REST API testing (Postman or code-based)
• CI/CD integration and performance/load testing (JMeter, k6, Locust)
• Responsive web app testing and AI-powered testing tools
• Preferred: lending, payments or FinTech experience, Jira/Confluence, file-based integrations (CSV, SFTP), knowledge of reconciliation and compliance
