Senior Solution Architect – APIs and Integration

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design of a multi‑year modernization program. You will work with cross‑functional product teams, guide engineering on API‑first integration, and shape data foundation patterns using cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define solution architecture that supports a strangler‑fig modernization approach.
• Design API‑first integration patterns and establish API management best practices.
• Align product teams on architectural decisions, trade‑offs, and modular platform components.
• Collaborate with data foundation stakeholders to set platform boundaries and guide .NET‑centric teams.
• Choose appropriate cloud PaaS patterns and integration approaches for relational and NoSQL stores.
• Promote asynchronous, event‑driven patterns to improve reliability and scalability.
• Review designs for consistency, modularity, and long‑term maintainability.
• Document architectural direction and communicate risks, constraints, and mitigation options.

Required profile

• 4+ years of solution architecture experience with a focus on APIs and integration.
• Proven leadership and thought‑leadership skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong collaboration within “4‑in‑a‑box” product teams.
• High adaptability to changing requirements and program needs.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
