Software Engineer - Go (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring a Software Engineer specializing in Go. You will build and maintain high-concurrency services and microservices that power the core infrastructure and backend systems, connecting complex business requirements with efficient, scalable code.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services and APIs using Go.
• Implement efficient concurrency patterns to handle high-volume data and requests.
• Optimize and maintain database interactions using PostgreSQL for data integrity and performance.
• Containerize services with Docker and coordinate deployments in Kubernetes environments.
• Manage and scale cloud-based services across AWS or GCP infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on microservices architecture and API design best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Go.
• Strong expertise in building high-concurrency backend services and microservices.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and understanding of concurrency patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
