Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js, US Hours)

About the role

Veridooh, a global ad-tech company founded in 2019 that provides OOH verification and campaign automation, is hiring its first full-time hire in South America. As a Software Engineer you will work US hours alongside engineers in Australia and Vietnam, based in Bogota or Medellin, Colombia. The role sits at the core of the campaign operations platform that tracks, verifies and automates OOH campaigns at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own campaign platform reliability: build and maintain the backend services and operational tooling that keep live campaigns running accurately across US, UK and Australian markets.
• Build for data at scale using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS (RDS, SQS, Lambda, S3) to process high-volume impression and verification data.
• Solve operational problems by building dashboards, automation workflows, alerting systems and internal interfaces for account managers and campaign ops.
• Drive platform evolution by identifying technical debt and proposing and shipping solutions.
• Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar) as part of building, testing, reviewing and documenting code.
• Act as the engineering interface for account managers and sales, communicating in US Eastern hours.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and advocate for observability and modern development workflows.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of software development experience delivering large-scale, high-performance applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent English communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in environments where code directly supports operational teams.

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js; familiarity with React or Angular.
• AWS services such as RDS, SQS, Lambda and S3.
• Data systems: RDBMS or data warehouses.
• Active use of AI coding tools.
