Solutions Architect, LatAm

About the role

Airalo, the world's first eSIM store, is looking for a Solutions Architect to lead the localized adaptation and system integration of its Global MVNO Core. The role bridges standardized engineering sprints with the custom needs of local mobile network operators, regulators and partners, ensuring the platform (HSS, DRA, PGW) meets regional mandates and interconnectivity specifications. It is fully remote, open to candidates across supported Latin American locations, and paid according to local market rates.

Key responsibilities

• Translate regional regulatory mandates into functional requirements and align stakeholders
• Lead workshops with local MNOs, regulators and internal teams to define scope and priorities
• Compare regulations against platform capabilities and define enhancements, trade-offs and phased delivery
• Create technical workflows and flowcharts for regulatory services such as MNP and lawful interception
• Define business rules, data exchange and reporting requirements for MNP, voice/SMS routing and local authority data
• Define acceptance criteria, test scenarios and sign-off requirements per country
• Manage technical-regulatory checklists and coordinate with central databases and partners on interworking specifications
• Mentor Solution Analysts and delivery teams on user stories, functional specs and traceability

Required profile

• 7+ years as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, preferably in telecom or tech
• Experience synthesizing regulatory documents into engineering tasks
• Comfortable discussing SIP, SMS routing and MNP databases with engineers
• Interest in international roaming, interconnectivity and global telecom markets
• Ability to liaise between legal, product and engineering teams

Nice to have

• Prior experience in MVNO or mobile core environments
• GSMA standards and eSIM knowledge
• Familiarity with lawful interception and compliance reporting

Salary range varies by country: Mexico 1,113,200 - 1,669,800 MXN, Brazil 294,800 - 442,200 BRL, Colombia 148,933,600 - 223,400,400 COP. Background checks may be requested after a successful application.
