About the role

ARQ is a fast-growing fintech building cross-border payment infrastructure. This Strategy & Operations role asks you to think like a founder: curious about the why, ruthless about priorities, and comfortable moving fast. You will own key business challenges, from growth direction to scaling operations, combining analytical thinking with hands-on execution and working directly with founders and teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategic and operational initiatives end to end, from defining the problem and building the business case to execution and measuring results.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate growth, improve unit economics and make operations more efficient.
• Turn complex data, customer insights and market research into clear recommendations and act on them.
• Build and scale processes, tools and workflows, using AI and automation where it makes a difference.
• Define and track success metrics, spot issues early and drive improvements across the business.
• Work across product, engineering, operations, finance and compliance to unblock decisions.
• Lead partnerships with external providers such as banks and processors when relevant.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a demanding environment such as MBB, a high-growth startup or a business at significant scale.
• Strong analytical skills and a track record of getting things done, owning outcomes from recommendation to implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complexity clearly to frontline teams and executives.
• A bias to action, comfort with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Fintech, payments or a highly regulated consumer business experience.
• High-growth startup experience from early to scale stage.
• Launching or scaling businesses in Latin America.
• Spanish or Portuguese.
