Systems Specialist (Hybrid, Bogotá)
Huge · Bogotá
Job description
About the role
Huge is hiring a Systems Specialist for its globally distributed Systems Administration team, based in Bogotá on a hybrid basis. The role starts with the device fleet, the Bogotá office infrastructure, enrollment and build workflows and the recurring inventory audits, and grows to include identity, email and network work. You will report to the Associate Director, Systems Administration in the UK and work with the Systems Administrator in Bogotá and the IT Support teams in Bogotá and Medellín.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the macOS fleet in Iru (formerly Kandji): enrollment via Apple Business Manager, library items and blueprints, Self Service apps, OS updates and compliance.
- Manage the Windows fleet in Kaseya VSA X: build laptops with onboarding workflows, keep the agent, patch policy and endpoint security tools (Sophos, Tenable, Delinea) healthy, and investigate devices that stop checking in.
- Keep the asset inventory accurate in Asset Panda and run quarterly access audits, reconciling users and devices against the HR roster and the inventory.
- Run device-side onboarding and offboarding in Colombia and the Americas, including vendor quotes, shipping, enrollment, locking and wiping of returned devices.
- Look after the Bogotá office infrastructure: Cisco Meraki network equipment, UPS, access-control controllers, cameras, printers, and coordination with facilities, ISPs and vendors.
- Handle escalations from IT Support on Okta, Google Workspace and MDM issues, and follow up security provider alerts.
- Assist with Google Workspace and Okta administration (groups, app assignments, distribution lists) and maintain documentation in the team's knowledge base.
- Automate small recurring tasks with scripts (Bash, Python or Google Apps Script).
Required profile
- 1-3 years in IT support, desktop engineering or a junior systems role, ideally with responsibility for company-owned devices.
- Fluent Spanish and professional working English; able to attend the Bogotá office when hardware, network or vendor work requires it.
- If the candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related profession, a professional license must be presented.
Required skills
- Hands-on macOS and Windows administration; MDM/RMM tools (Iru/Kandji, Jamf, Intune, Kaseya) are a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and an identity provider such as Okta.
- Networking basics (IP addressing, VLANs, Wi-Fi, DNS) and command-line comfort (Terminal or PowerShell).
