Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Talent Acquisition Associate) to support recruitment across the organization, focusing on the Banking, FinTech and Technology sectors. The role works closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead and hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, technical and non-technical. It is based in Bogotá, Colombia, in a hybrid setup, and suits an early-career recruitment professional.

Key responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment from intake through offer under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Lead.
• Execute sourcing plans using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and internal talent pools.
• Review resumes, run screening calls and present shortlists to recruiters or hiring managers.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate communication and process milestones.
• Compile recruiting data such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness and report it regularly.
• Stay up to date on hiring trends in Banking, FinTech and Technology.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, local labor regulations and DEI best practices.
• Represent Sezzle at job fairs, university events and networking activities.
• Leverage AI tools to improve sourcing, screening and reporting, and improve recruitment workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience, in-house or agency.
• Ability to manage candidate pipelines and interview logistics across concurrent requisitions.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish.
• Based in Bogotá, able to work hybrid and collaborate across time zones.
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools in recruitment.

Required skills

• Working proficiency with applicant tracking systems and disciplined record keeping.
• Sourcing with LinkedIn, job boards and search methodologies.
• Preferred: Greenhouse or similar ATS, experience in Latin America and North America, and exposure to inclusive hiring and structured interviews.
