Team Leader – Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Team Leader – Talent Acquisition will head a group of approximately 12 recruitment professionals, ensuring high‑quality hiring delivery for DHL’s global operations. You will drive operational excellence, standardise processes and foster strong relationships with business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support a team of Talent Acquisition experts, promoting accountability and high performance.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment support for global stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate hiring processes.
• Monitor team KPIs such as productivity, quality, turnaround time, aging requisitions, stakeholder satisfaction and candidate experience.
• Manage workload distribution, capacity planning and risk mitigation.
• Act as primary contact for hiring managers and business partners, maintaining clear communication.
• Handle complex recruitment cases, escalations and urgent hiring needs.
• Standardise recruitment processes, maintain SOPs, toolkits and best‑practice documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, data confidentiality and governance.
• Analyse recruitment data, create dashboards and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Coach team members, identify training needs and coordinate upskilling initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, OpEx and other functions to implement automation and standardisation projects.

Required profile

• Proven people‑leadership experience in recruitment operations.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance against KPIs in a global, multicultural environment.
• Experience in process optimisation and change management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with recruitment/Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Data analysis and dashboard creation.
