Technical Project Manager – Healthcare SaaS

About the role

WRS Health is seeking a Technical Project Manager to act as the bridge between business objectives and technical execution for its cloud‑based EMR and practice management solutions. The role will own the product lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, regulatory standards, and user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for major system issues and product inquiries.
• Gather, document, and prioritize requirements from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring readiness for development.
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and UI/UX architects to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Communicate feature value to internal teams and clients.
• Mentor and manage the Product Owner team, setting goals and evaluating performance.
• Oversee regulatory compliance processes (ONC, Surescripts, MDToolbox/DEA) and maintain certification status.
• Manage the manual testing team, aligning testing timelines with product delivery.
• Direct MIPS services, ensuring financial and regulatory alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in user research, creating user flows, personas, and related artifacts.
• Background in healthcare or health‑technology software, preferably with EMR/EHR systems.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities, identify critical roadblocks, and make decisions under pressure.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide product decisions.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of independent judgment.
