Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

The Technical Sales Specialist partners with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to drive business growth and support customers on their digital transformation journey. Based in Bogotá, the role covers Colombia, Ecuador and Peru and involves both remote and on‑site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth assessments of customer processes and identify business issues.
• Capture ROI metrics and present value‑focused demos, pilots, RFP responses and roadmap presentations.
• Collaborate with Autodesk partners and resellers to promote solution adoption and mentor technical sales activities.
• Document engagements in Salesforce, including pain points, decision criteria and risk assessments.
• Influence product direction through customer feedback and support internal sales enablement content.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Native Spanish speaker with fluent English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Experience with BIM and virtual BIM collaboration (ACC).
• Familiarity with SaaS technology and sales processes.
• Experience using Salesforce for documenting sales activities.
