VP of Sales & Marketing (Heavy Equipment / Business / Strategy)

About the role

Gatesource HR is recruiting a VP of Sales & Marketing in Cartagena, Colombia, to lead and direct the commercial activities related to the sale of products and services. The role ensures the achievement of strategic objectives, business growth, sustainability, profitability, marketing development and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for products, spare parts and services to achieve business objectives.
• Identify, develop and consolidate new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Visit clients and manage customer interactions to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Analyse and present reports on profitability, budgets, sales, expenses and customer service to meet financial targets.
• Establish strategies to improve profitability and position the organisation as a preferred provider of products, equipment and services.
• Lead marketing, advertising and brand positioning initiatives to strengthen market presence.
• Promote a positive work environment and support training and development programmes for team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Preferred: specialisation in Finance, Marketing, Administration or Financial Analysis.
• Minimum of five years in similar roles or leadership positions in related areas.
