Web Developer & SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web Developer & SEO Specialist to take our client’s new website from approved design mockups to a high‑performance, conversion‑focused launch. You will own the site’s technical architecture and search presence, continuously improving it to generate qualified legal cases.

Key responsibilities

• Transform design mockups into a fast, fully responsive website on Webflow or WordPress and maintain practice‑area, location and blog pages.
• Optimize UX, page speed, accessibility, security and Core Web Vitals while keeping the site bug‑free.
• Manage site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, XML sitemaps, redirects and structured data (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research, structure on‑page content and uphold E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Oversee Google Business Profile, local citations and map‑pack visibility for NYC locations.
• Support link‑building, digital‑PR and CRO experiments to improve intake forms, click‑to‑call and live‑chat conversions.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking and rank tracking to shape the growth roadmap.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in‑house).
• Proven track record delivering fast, modern, conversion‑focused sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of technical, on‑page and local SEO with measurable ranking improvements.
• Highly organized, able to manage end‑to‑end launches independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in legal or other competitive high‑intent local services is a plus.
