Accounting Manager – Bogota

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations in Bogota. The role involves managing payroll, tax compliance, month‑end close and supporting external audits while providing insightful financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate payroll according to local laws
• Prepare payroll tax declarations
• Submit monthly tax returns (VAT/CIT)
• Prepare corporate income tax year declaration
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare local financial statements
• Attend external audits to ensure compliance
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting
• Valid Professional Accountant License issued by the Central Board of Accountants (JCC)
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in IFRS applicable in Colombia
• Experience preparing and filing tax returns with DIAN
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
