Billing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist to own the end‑to‑end billing process on our Revenue team. You will ensure invoicing accuracy, collect payments, and reconcile accounts, primarily using Stripe.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full billing cycle, auditing invoicing and credit memo runs for accuracy.
• Manage subscription billing in Stripe, including recurring payments, plans, discounts, and tax configurations.
• Reconcile transactions, resolve billing discrepancies, and handle chargebacks, refunds, and failed payments.
• Maintain accounts receivable tasks such as aging reports and credit memo applications.
• Update customer accounts for plan changes and ensure clean customer data.
• Build billing and payment reports, identify process improvements, and automate workflows using AI tools.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience as a Billing Specialist, AR Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Stripe (dashboard, subscriptions, API tools).
• Familiarity with financial regulations and GAAP.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Clear communicator with strong customer service instincts.
