Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Azumo is looking for a senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to own the production AI infrastructure that runs on Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers. The position is fully remote for candidates in Latin America and involves working directly with client environments and Azumo’s own platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, upgrade, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters, ensuring networking, security, and workload configuration are robust.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform (or equivalent) to achieve reproducible environments and detect drift.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.) for reliable container image builds and deployments.
• Develop observability solutions with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, CloudWatch) and lead incident response from detection to root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Manage cost and capacity planning for clusters, providing forecasts and optimization recommendations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or systems engineer running production infrastructure.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Linux administration, networking, Git, Bash scripting, and programming in Python or Go.
• Proven track record of building and operating Kubernetes clusters at scale, including provisioning, upgrades, and debugging.
• Strong background in Terraform (or similar IaC) with state management and modular design.
• Fluent English (C1+) with the ability to communicate technical trade‑offs to clients.
