About the role

Symphony is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and execution of comprehensive data strategies for global clients. You will work with a virtual team of data professionals to deliver cutting‑edge data solutions that align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and implement data strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Establish data governance policies to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
• Lead a virtual team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Drive implementation of modern data architectures and technologies across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data‑driven opportunities and integrate data across systems.
• Monitor performance indicators and create value‑proposition materials for sales.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics.
• Proven senior leadership in data management and global big‑data platform delivery.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to align data initiatives with business goals.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure
• Data technologies: Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Spark/PySpark
• Programming: Python, SQL
