Director of Recruitment – Solar & Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Recruitment to design, build, and lead the recruiting function for a fast‑growing solar and roofing company operating across Texas. This strategic, hands‑on leadership position will shape scalable hiring processes, implement recruiting technology, and develop metrics to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a repeatable end‑to‑end recruitment process, including standardized workflows, interview frameworks, job scorecards, and compliant hiring practices.
• Continuously improve recruiting operations through process optimisation and automation while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimise the recruiting technology stack (ATS platforms, sourcing tools, scheduling software, candidate communication systems) to boost recruiter productivity.
• Establish recruiting KPIs and dashboards (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, offer acceptance rate, 90‑day retention, source effectiveness) and present insights to leadership.
• Partner with sales and operations leaders to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting strategies with business growth objectives.
• Remain actively involved in filling business‑critical roles while building the infrastructure for long‑term scaling.

• Experience recruiting for field operations, sales, and leadership positions.
