Engineering Manager – Remote

About the role

Lead a team of engineers building scalable, ML‑driven software products while staying hands‑on with code, architecture, and technical standards. Drive team growth, productivity, and technical excellence in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and hire top‑tier ML engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing team.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, ML and Design teams to define and deliver ambitious road‑maps.
• Write, review and ship production‑grade code when needed.
• Make architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance and reliability.
• Oversee technical execution of ML features, working closely with data scientists and ML engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership or engineering‑management role.
• Strong programming skills in modern languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go or Java.
• Deep understanding of system design, APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and software architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑driven applications or close collaboration with ML teams.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
